Hugh James Brinkman took his very first flight when he was just two years old — a family trip to London. While most toddlers slept, Hugh stayed glued to the window, watching the clouds and the world roll by below. Something lit up inside him that day that never went out.
Since then, Hugh has been on many flights. He became obsessed with everything: the planes themselves, the flight paths, the destinations. While other kids were playing video games, Hugh was tracing routes on world maps and reading about airports in cities he'd never heard of. His parents thought it was a phase. It wasn't.
